The Twin Cities Civil War Roundtable invites four middle or high school teachers to each of its monthly programs at no charge. The dinners and programs are held in Bloomington at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 1114 American Boulevard West, just southeast of the junction of Interstates 94 and 35W. Social time begins at 5:45, with dinner and Civil War presentation following. (See the Monthly Meetings page for more details and schedule.) Our programs draw up to 100 members and guests and last around two hours.
To qualify for a complimentary invitation you must be a current middle or high school teacher who this school year is teaching Civil War history as part of your curriculum. Invitations are limited to four per meeting and are provided upon request on a first come basis each month. Dinner choices vary each month and include vegetarian, steak, fish or pork loin. (You may bring a spouse or one guest with payment of the $22 meal charge.)
